On a sunny autumn afternoon I arrived at this family's house. A fabulous renovated 1970's brick home with hue windows and fitting 70's cool decor. So much character in this home!
When I arrived, Sophia was sound asleep in the streaming sun onto of her bed. Right where she must have collapsed needing a nap after her morning. The sun was bouncing around the rich warm tones of the baltic pine.
Her big brother Sebastian, a bit shy at first, started to come our of his shell. Dad found an old camera and Sebastian was keen to have a try.
I just followed him quietly and found him playing with his cars. Showing Dad how to use the remote control car.
Beautiful boy. Warming up to me. Telling little stories.
Sophia has woken up and is kinda sleepy. I remember the days when my kids would wake up like bears with sore heads for the first half an hour ;)
Come downstairs Mum I want to do dress ups!!
Hanging in the living room and Sebastian races up to me with a photo of him and his cousin when he was a baby. He was so proud of this photo and rand and found a big bunch of family photos and spread them all over the floor and told me about each them. Printing your photos is sooo important - really boosts kids self esteem and gives them a sense of belonging to see them selves in photos with their loved ones).
